Neonatal care is an emerging focus for the WHO and other global healthcare organizations. Low resources and lack of advanced infrastructure lead to difficult management of care for what some could argue the smallest and most vulnerable patients in the world - preterm and sick newborns. In this session you will hear stories of how a pediatrician has overcome some of these obstacles by using very basic tools to enhance the care of this unique population.
