Adonai International Ministries (AIM) is a medical ministry incorporated in Marine, Illinois that works primarily to provide medical care in the remote highlands of Guatemala via Hospital Adonai and Clinicas Adonai. We are a Christian organization that strives to be led by God in every situation and circumstance. In addition to medical care, AIM is involved in aviation and agriculture. AIM has a heart for intercession and prayer as an integral part of the ministry.

The founders, Duane and Leslie Ficker, had been living in Guatemala since 1999 working at a children's home. While they were there, the Lord began prompting them to reach out to the community from a medical perspective, as Leslie was a registered nurse. After forming Adonai International Ministries as a 501(c)(3) in 2001, they moved to Canillá, Guatemala and began to work in the community.

Over the years, different people have caught the vision and come alongside Duane and Leslie, but the vision of Adonai International Ministries has always been God's. This vision has grown to include a medical facility, airplanes, agriculture projects, and numerous outpatient clinics, but the heart of the ministry can be found in AIM's prayer room: as we grow in intimacy with God, we are better able to lead others in the knowledge of Him and to serve the people around us.
